Sponsoring the Eero Saarinen exhibition

Sponsoring the Eero Saarinen exhibition has developed ASSA ABLOY’s relationship with architects and professionals.

The opportunity to stroll down the street marveling at architecture is a gift from people often unknown to us. These architects not only design buildings to effectively meet end-user needs, they also influence the selection of door and window opening solutions. Their importance to ASSA ABLOY Group brands is vast. To further develop relationships with architects, many Group sales teams have specification writers who offer their services. This is a great way for the teams and brands to remain relevant with architects and be seen as life-safety and security-solution providers.

As the global sponsor of the Eero Saarinen; Shaping the Future exhibition, ASSA ABLOY has been able to strengthen its relationships with architects and design professionals the world over. The exhibition, a multi-year project, stops throughout Europe and the United States from October 2006 through the end of 2010. The exhibition highlights the life and career of Eero Saarinen, one of the 20th century’s most influential architects. Exhibition openings and private events have served as an important vehicle for ASSA ABLOY to engage with architects. Abloy Oy held a special event for architects at the Helsinki location with great success and feedback from architectural partners.

Many of today’s architects have been inspired by Saarinen’s design philosophy of using new materials and incorporating the unique needs of the end-user into the design. ASSA ABLOY too continues to innovate and provide architects with solutions that make their vision become a reality.

Where in the world is the Eero Saarinen Exhibition?
